Primo, Sec, Trip, & Quadra – Bald Eagles (Haliaeetus leucocephalus)
Sec is the last surviving non-releaseable Bald Eagle for a foursome that came to Badger Run in 2010. The quartet was being cared for by a rehabilitator in Sprague River, OR until she lost a battle with cancer, and the Eagles came to Badger Run. The other 3 members of the original four, Trip, Primo, & Quadra, has succumbed to old age. Sec is a partial wing amputee and are non-flighted. She had her wing blown off by shotgun blast. Sadly, no, the perpetrators were never caught.
