Dudley-Great Horned Owl- (Bubo virginianus)

“Dudley” is a Great Horned Owl that came to Badger Run as a patient in February 2018. He was suffering head trauma. We assume he had been hit by a car since he was found on the road. Although he did not have any broken bones he appears to have incurred some brain damage & has impaired vision. He would not be able to hunt prey if released back to the wild, so in July of 2018 he became a member of our education team.
