Hi All!
On Friday, April 19th, Jon Schnebly (the guy who drives the BIG tractor on our “construction days” and who is responsible for BRWR getting our tractor) will be at BRWR at 9 am with his BULLDOZER to help us flatten this place out, create paths for volunteers to use and to make more areas accessible to our tractor and RTV for snow removal, maintenance, etc. At 9 am we really need someone who has experience with big equipment and earth moving to be a “spotter” for Jon who will be driving the ‘dozer. Throughout the day, we will need people to help with moving rocks, clean up, maybe driving the BRWR tractor or RTV to help move debris, etc. I’m putting a list together for Jon of who/what his help will be. PLEASE let me know ASAP if you can help, and please SHARE this message with ANYONE whom you think might be able to help or who might know someone who can. If we can get a good crew going, we should be able to knock this out in one day! If anyone has contacts with ROTC, Scouts, or any “strong, young muscle” please contact them and see if they are available to help. We have a lot of dirt and rocks to move to make BRWR more accessible for the public and for volunteers!
