Great release today of a young male Great Horned Owl near Tulelake Wildlife Refuge today! He came to us a few weeks ago with a cut eye and some head trauma. Thanks to Dr. Tawnia Shaw, his eye is well healed, he even seems to have partial sight in it, despite the nasty cut he had when he came in. Glad to see the little guy fly off so well!
